Not sure what to do... It originally started when I was a bit younger and really heavy; at like 5' I was about 170pounds....very bad. I developed a bad self-image of myself. By the time I was 16, I was 5'10" and 170 pounds, about normal, and now I'm 6'2" and 205 pounds (down from 214). It got to the point where I started taking laxatives, and now I've started to get to the point of making myself throw up after eating a snack (did today for the first time). Not sure what I can/should do to try and fix this. I am fixated on this notion that I am morbidly obese and that I'm really ugly. It's kind of been getting worse lately... EDIT: Down a pound and a half to 203
I would talk to your doctor. There are a number of specialists in Boston that could help you. Have you ever dealt with Children's Hospital? they are great! I would try to contact someone there. Good luck!
If you think you are fat, hit the treadmill. if you think you're ugly, spend some money on some new clothes and have your hair styled. either way laxatives and chucking up aren't gonna help you. essentially this is about the way you see yourself, and generally everyone's motto around here is to love and accept yourself which you should but the behaviour you're engaging in isn't helping anyone, so have a hug and a kiss (*hug*) and sort it out mmmkay? x x
We're getting an exercise bike soon, so I'll use that. And I've only been to the North Shore Childrens Hospital in Salem . I just keep thinking that if I'm fat, then I'm ugly.
Most eating disorders are not only based on bad self-image but also feeling like one doesn't have enough control over oneself. If you want to throw up because you think that it will fix things and will allow you more control over the way you look, then you should seek out a counselor/therapist with whom to address the problem.

Good luck! Everything happens for a reason. You may not know right away and you may never know. All you can do is just believe in yourself! I agree. Children's is a great hospital. You need to get help before you get really sick. Please...don't wait.
