How old were you when you came out for the 1st time (if you've come out)?

I was fifteen, I believe. I was still bicurious at that point, but I came out to my best friend. Later, I became more certain(pansexual), also figured out I was genderfluid. I came out to my family and other friends about this when is was 16-17.

Came out today to a friend. So 14.

I must of been 14 or so when I came out to my cousin.

 

21. But of course that was 23 years ago. I like to think it would have been earlier if I was born later--as it is I really regret not coming out when I went away to college rather than after.

Hard to tell, I used to come out to random people on the internet years ago. The first time I told someone I knew personally was a few months ago, so 14.

 

I was 28 when I told the first person I was gay in person. (My therapist.) at 30 I am preparing my last big coming out step of telling my parents.

I was 25yo. I came out to a close girl friend from Medical School. She still remains a confidant as to my gay love--- love and issues. She still remains as the only person I've officially come out to. On hindsight choosing her to come out to was one of the best decisions I've made. She remains a pillar of support and has never told others of my sexuality.

 

I was 16 when I sent that email to my best friend with "I think I might be a lesbian" in the middle of it.

 

I think i must have been about 17. I was talking to my sibling whilst we sat in the hospital underground car park waiting for our mum to come back from her appointment. We felt like we were in there forever but it was only a couple of hours. I dont know how the topic shifted to sexuality but the next moment i was confessing to feeling confused with my attraction to girls since my mum had made it clear that being something other than straight was "disgusting and are you going to fancy me then if you're a lesbian?" .....:/

I met one girl who i was really into but nothing happened, and i went to university to do my UG. Recently the sexuality conversation came up again, and my sibling was like "yeah, i know".

 

I was 23 when I came out to my friend about my sexuality... About my gender, I just came out recently to a few people, but most of them didn't take it seriously.
