    Welcome to EC!

You say they haven't been "on". You mean online? Well, if you want to talk to either of them in-depth about it, don't sit around waiting - contact them direct. If you have a phone number, call them. If not, send them an e-mail. Explain what you'd like, and then end by saying "Let me know if you have any questions. And thanks for being a great friend."

My opinion is that some things really DO need to be discussed on forums other than text and IM. Because it's necessary to make sure everybody is on the same page, and that nothing gets misconstrued. This is one of those times. Your e-mail doesn't have to be really lengthy, but it should be clear as to what you want you want to say.

I wouldn't bother telling Adam you fancy him just yet. It's best to keep "I'm gay" and "I'm interested in you" as two separate pieces of news. And don't worry about whether or not they're on MSN - you have other ways to contact them.

I'd contact Molly first, since she's the one you've talked to about it. "Hey. Last time we were on MSN, I told you I was gay and fancied Adam. Since then, Adam came on MSN really briefly, just to say he didn't believe I was gay. Did you tell him that I fancied him? If you did, well, I kinda wish you hadn't. I wanted to approach him in my own way. If you haven't told him yet, please don't. Hit me up when you have a sec, because I'd like to talk to you some more about this."

You don't have to lie. You can say "Kinda. But I'd rather not talk about it."
