I am working on my letter to my parents and expect to come out to them in the next week or so. I am amazed at how nervous I am, even though I know that I am ready. Everyone here at EC has been great, and I know I would not have been able to do this without your support.

I want to give my parents a book on the subject, but there are so many out there, I do not know which is best and am looking for some recommendations.

I can't help you on the book front, but maybe some PFLAG information and such would help them out, too?

Thanks - I have the PFLAG pamphlet downloaded. It is very good. I also wanted to send book, as well.

Pm Becky. She's the most knowledgeable about PFLAG and books.

When I want to the local PFLAG meeting I got a booklet called 'Our Daughters & Sons'. I plan to give it to my parents when I come out. Good luck. Let us know what happens.

Hi there! Have a look at "Now that you Know" (Becky suggested this one to me).I gave it to my parents when I came out to them. It is probably one of the best books out there.
