People who have readmy previous postshere know that my coming out experience didn't go the way i wanted and my parents ended up kicking me out. I lived with my boyfriend, got addicted to heroin, and went through a lot of shitty experiences that i wouldn't wishon anyone.

The conclusion I got out of all this mess... i can't change myself. You can hate yourself and feel like things are your fault but at the end of the day you are who you are, gay/lesbian/bisexual/trans, etc. You are you and that's the way it is and it's ok.
    Keep that in mind.

Thanks for posting this. It's clear that you have been on one hell of a journey and I congratulate you for getting out of the mess you were in - I'm sure it wasn't easy for you.

I think you said it well. It's something we all need to keep in mind as we get frustrated and anxious about the coming out process.
