I'm a senior (who used to have an account on here but it got locked due to inactivity) and I go to a fairly average acceptance high school. I've always I want to come out fairly soon because my family has started to truly accept me for who I've always been, but I'm not the person who would want to make a Facebook post about it. Could I get some advice on ways of how to come out that's not in your face? I'm mentally and emotionally (with the support of great friends) prepared for this!

I'm not sure how subtle you wanna go with this but perhaps you could wear a pride pin on your backpack?

    Hello,

I'm pretty sure seniors do class speeches? Maybe do a speech about accepting everyone for who they are. [which can be anything, not just gender and sexuality].

I ended up coming out because rumours spread like wildfire in my school and nobody expected it to be true XD

Americans don't have uniforms, right? You could wear a hoodie or t-shirt featuring something pride related.

I think just once you tell some people, they'll tell others and like the last person said, it can spread quickly.

Yeah I think that's what I'll go with honestly. I'm going to go to my school's Pizza Klatch (basically a GSA but with pizza so BETTER) and if anyone asks or anything I'll just tell them that I've decided to be open with my sexuality.
