So I went on a walk this afternoon as usual, at around 4:30 (Just got home now,
at 6:30). My walk went as usual, until I went in this part of town that's kind of
far-out (15-20 min walk from my house) and it started to get dark. This car
pulls up behind me, it stops, I keep on walking. Eventually, I get to the
end of the Street and turn around, since it's too dark to keep going to the
park that's beside it. So I walk back a ways, I walk by that car, and then
this other car pulls up. There's a guy (age 35-40) in it and he pauses for
a second and then is like "what are you doing out here at this hour?"
and so I tell him that I'm on my way home. Then he's like "how old are
you?" and I reply "Can I help you?" (as in, are you lost, directions etc...),
and he kind of gropes himself and is like "are you gay?" and I say no
and then he offers me a ride home and I say "thanks that's kind of you
but I can manage". Then I say "bye!" and he finally drives off.

I know I'm really lucky though, I could have been raped, gotten an STD,
AIDS or worse. My town isn't really dangerous or anything, even walking
in the main part of town at 2am isn't dangerous (though it scares me),
but I definetely am not going that far out when it's getting dark outside.

Probably a good idea. You handled it right.

That guy was creepy. It might not hurt to keep a bit of pepper spray on hand for future walks.

You did good. If it happens again,(God forbid!) get the license plate and report it.
You may just help prevent something worse happening to yourself or someone else.
It's a good idea to walk closer to home and NOT after dark. I'm glad you're safe!

I've had guys be way more forward than that. I was doing a pressure washing job at a gas station and the lights allowed me to work into the night. It was July in TN, and I wasn't wearing a shirt. Well it was getting on about ten O'clock and this fat guy with his shirt off walks past me and says

"hey man if you come around back I'll suck you off!"

He then proceeded to speed-walk around to the back of the station.

I told the manager and put a shirt on.

    Creepy.

This is what i was going to say. Not sure how the laws are there, but if something like that happens here, it would be taken very seriously!
