I came out to my mom

    Today when me and my mom were driving home from shopping, she asked me if I knowest something about those two guys in front of us in line when we were waiting to check out? I said no. My mom said she thinks their gay. I said really? She said yeah and that she doesn't care. She asked me if there is something I wanted to tell her and I said no mom. Then I told her yes mom, I like men to. She got quiet. When we got home, we talked in her bedroom privately. My mom told me that she wished that I had told her sooner and that she loves me so much, that she'll always be there for me and to support me, and she gave me a big hug. I almost cried. I am glad I was able to tell my mom because this has been eating me up inside for 6 years. I love my mom so much. Me and my mom have a great relationship. She gave me her word that she will not tell anyone else. My mom wants me to go talk to a therapist. I am going to check into talking to a therapist about my feelings.

    I told my mom yesterday too. She was VERY supportive. I can't believe it. I am so glad I took the risk and told her.

    It is great news that your mom is so supportive, congradulations!!!:thumbsup:

    I came out to my mom at 13yrs.-old and she cried, but has been wonderful. We have such a great bond, we're like bestfriends. I don't know what I would do if she couldn't accept me. I am even able to talk to her about anything!:icon_bigg :eusa_danc
