Do anyone have or need ideas for coming out? Not content with the classic, "I'm (insert orientation)"? Let's all help each other then! Post any ideas for coming out here, or say if yiu need something spectacular or shocking. ------- My sexuality is kind of an open secret at school, so I'm thinking to do a cpver of Hozier's Take Me To Church and post it on Facebook, along with a short explanation. Or, I can shave my legs (my mom thinks its a gay thing to do) and stick around for her to notice (won't be long) and she says something about it, I can say "I'm gay. I am allowed to shave my body." Other ideas?
I have always preferred just telling it face to face because I'n my opinion it's the most rewarding way of doing so and I give all my respect to people that can pull it off. Yes. It requires courage but I'm sure everyone is capable to do so with little prepping ^-^
I'm pretty straightforward: "Hey Matt, I have something pretty personal to share. I'm gay. I've been struggling with it for quite a while and I've decided that it's best to just admit it to myself and to those that I feel can handle it". That's how I came out to my college bestie.
LAUGHED SO HARD! What about being all nonchalant? ... Like, Just passingly saying that you're gay, as if it is the natural next carriage in the train of conversation. Friend: She's hot as hell! Me: Well I'm gay, so no. Friend: *stares*
Or you could make a point about them being heterosexual Friend: She's hot as hell! Me: You're straight? Since when? How did you know? How long you been out? Friend: [I've always wondered someone's reaction to this.]
