I havent really come out, and I act straight around my friends becaude I don't know they will accept me. Also, I don't know how many parents would feel about me being gay. Any advice?

Have you ever brought up LGBT issues with your parents or your friends? If you haven't try it and see what their reaction is and where they stand. If it is positive then that is a good sign for you.

Very good idea. That's what I'm doing now to try and gauge individual responses.

Maybe bring up LGBT+ issues with them to see what their reactions are just like Danni said it'll help you see where you stand in telling them or not
    Good luck!

Absent mindedly ask their opinions on LGBT issues and then act upon how the stand on the matter. If you don't feel up to that, do they have any LGBT friends or family and what is their standing on them?
