I've been gearing up lately to come out to my family. But when I was lying awake last night a thought struck me. It sounds pretty stupid to me as I am sure that I am gay but I keep on worrying "what happens if I come out then realise I'm straight". Is this normal? And has anyone got any tips?

If you realise you are straight sometime in the future you'll be able to say for certain that you know yourself better since you've thoroughly considered your sexuality.

Tips for coming out? Think it through, like an F1 driver before a race. What situation is best to bring it up in? What's the best way to come out? How do you think your family will react? Will you have to come out to more people because of this - do you want to/are you comfortable with this?

    Hope this helps. Good luck!
