How can I tell if people will be supportive or not

    Hello I'm a 14 year old trans girl and want to find out if there is a good way of finding out if someone will be supportive or not, thanks

    Bring up LGBT stories in the news and see how they react. In your case, perhaps the bathroom bills in the US that are blatantly anti-trans...

    try making up a story of a trans friend and see how they react.. thats how i came out to my mom, I asked her what she thought of some problem my "gay friend" was facing

    Easy! Just say, "Hey, I met this kid once...they were trans."
    If your friend is like, "Eeeeeeeew!" then maybe don't come out...
    If your friend is like, "...cool..." then you're probably good!
    If your friend is like, "OMG, I think I know that kid! It's Amelia, right?" then you just found an ally! (well, two)
