Where do you meet people? I don't mean future relationships or even gay people for that matter, but people that you can be friends with.

I want to feel better connected and I can't figure out how to make more friends unless you have friends to begin with.

Lately I've been feeling like a loser and I don't know what to do with myself anymore.

    Tips that won't help me:
    Anything involving school
Anything involving sports and hobbies (since I'm underprivileged)
    Getting a job

I have a car so take me somewhere

Well you're 17, college should be coming which is hard at first and then you should fall into place. However, at the moment I'd say join a group, club outside of school. Is there a gay community center nearby, common interest clubs or sorts.

I'm gonna toss in a sports one, but it's an easy one. I used to play volleyball a couple times a week at a local church. Something like that might work for you, underprivledged or not.
