I am so proud of you!!! I am a social worker and I have seen too many kids who self-harm that never get the courage to speak up and tell someone you are in pain. It is a brave person who can admit that. I hope your parents help you find a good couselor or support group for these behaviors. If you don't get the help there PLEASE PLEASE tell your guidance counselor or someone else that can provide the support you need. I will check this thread or you can write me.. I want an update on how things go. Self harming can lead to more life threatening behavior and our community needs strong people like you to be healthy and lead the world in the future...YOU ARE IMPORTANT!!

"I different coming out"?; Stilsurchin....help me.

Parents often wonder when you do silly things that can question ones masculinity but hey, if they wonder and don't do anything bad...that's a good sign. Especially if they don't treat you different.

    "A differentt coming out"!
Not as gay, but as someone who self-harms.

I agree with Jangel: it's very important that you tell them this. Self-harming can lead to worse later in life. Seeking help as early as possible can only help you!
    Good luck! (*hug*)
