I'm ftm trans and I know my family will accept me but I'm unsure how my little brother will react. He is 12 years old and his father is sexist and kinda homophobic and passed some of that on to my little brother. I have a friend who is transgender and my brother hasn't said anything against her but also never interacts with her so I don't know how he would respond with her making me unsure of how he might respond with me. Normally I would just see be coming out but he scares me a bit because he is about 5 inches taller than me and is often violent so I'm afraid he might act against me though I doubt he will it just makes me nervous to say something. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for being able to test what his response might be without telling him about me.

My teenage trans son came out to his younger sisters. Slightly younger than your brother.

    They have adapted remarkably quickly.
