There are 3 stages to coming out!
1 Coming out to yourself. Scary and difficult.
2 Coming out to friends and family etc. Scary but generally worth it.
3 Living out of the closet. This is only possible after a long emotional journey.

There is no right or wrong way, or time. Only what is right for you. Reading other people's stories can inspire and encourage you, but as with everything in life, it's something you have to go through yourself. Life is a real bummer that way.
I found the ' funny reaction to coming out' thread really helpful.

    Hello there!

I understand that sometimes it can be frustrating when you don't get detailed responses to your threads, or the advice that you're looking for. Unfortunately, there is an aspect of luck when using a forum for advice. You have to hope that the right person is online to see your post and has the time to respond.

To maximise your chance of replies: try to ask specific questions, but keep your post short enough so that people can quickly understand the situation.

You're welcome to create a new thread, explaining what you're struggling with. Sometimes it takes a little while to come up with the answers, but our community is here to help.
