So, my friends, mom, dad, sister, cousins know that I like girls but the rest of my family doesn't.
Last time I talked to my mom about it she told me to stop making a big deal out of it and just let what ever happen happen.
Should I just wait until I actually have a girlfriend to tell the rest of my family, or should I do it and just get it over with?
    Thanks.
(Grandparents, aunt, uncle on both sides don't know by the way, thanks!)

Whatever you're comfortable with. Whatever you feel is the best path. If you're comfortable telling them just getting it overwith then do it, if not just wait until you have a GF
