Or just like, creative ways in general? For example, saying "Bye Mom! By the way I'm pansexual!" and then leaving to go to school (or something else longer...) before getting a response so your parents have all day to work out what to say to you and will probably have a better reaction than a conversation right then and there. This is the kind of thing I'm looking for. Any suggestions?
Here are some I’ve heard about: Knock knock joke. You - “Knock knock” Parents ; “Who’s there?” You – “It’s me your daughter.” Parents “It’s me your daughter who ..?” You – “… is pansexual” If you’re a good dancer, you could play them a Coming Out song and do a little dance for them. Bake a cake and, in icing, write “I’m Pansexual” on it. Make Rice Krispies treats with rainbow sprinkles. While you’re handing them out to loved ones, say, “Just FYI, I’m Pansexual.” Tie a note on your pet/dog. Change your computer’s desktop and ask your mom to look something up on it. BUT, all of the pressure is really on you, so once you make the announcement, you are going to be in emotional turmoil all day until you get their reaction. You might want to reconsider just telling them face-to-face and getting their reaction(s) directly. But DEFINITELY do whatever is most comfortable for you!
I'm not pan, but I came out to my friend by telling her "I'm about as straight as the infinity symbol". It was pretty funny
Somehow get them 2 ask what represents you and when they do say a curly fry . While they have a confused look on their face say it's because I'm about as straight as one and proceed to walk away
This reminds me of a gay friend who once had a younger boyfriend who still lived at home with the parents. One day they went on a bike ride but didn't get very far and they were making out very passionately on the banks of the river when the boyfriend's family - parents and siblings - came walking past. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry when he told me the story. Maybe it's a good way to come out if your family is conservative and judgemental - or maybe not.
@Quantumreality, Ooooh I like the knock knock joke idea. @Goldensun, Hahahahahahahaahaha that is great.
