I came out as a trans man to everyone a few months ago because I was feeling a lot of gender dysphoria AND because a lot of people don't believe that nonbinary genders are real, but I still feel halfway feminine. I'm actually genderqueer. How do I explain this to people I haven't come out to yet?
I simply said that I was nonbinary which means that I'm not a girl or a boy. I'm somewhere in between; I'm me. I them said that I preferred they/them pronouns and that I was happy to ask any respectful questions that people might have.
