I'd say it's pretty obvious that she's questioning, bi-curious, or something along the lines of that. This reminds me of when I came out to one of my best friends and she told me she ways bi-curious. You should bring it up again and see what she says.
No, you said the right thing. And she rolled the right way with it. Now about question number two... she could have just been making you feel more comfortable. But if she has any social skills she would at least ask herself "Is she telling me she likes me?" I think after her answers the ball is in your court.
