Recrently I've been seriously considering coming out to my mother. Who may I just say is extremely anti-trans. I feel bad hiding it from her but at the same time I'm scared. She threatened to throw me in a mental institution and disown me if I ever came out as what she labels "Tumblr trash". Since I graduate in a few months and plan on moving out ASAP would it be better to just wait until then? I'm sick of having to be so secretive with her,but at the same time I know I'll have to tell her eventually.

Awe. I want to start by saying that I'm sorry you're mother isn't supportive. In my opinion, I think that waitin is a smart idea. You said you have to come out eventually. But you should only do so when you're comfortable. If you think your mother's reaction would be that negative, it's probably best to wait.
