dont want to talk to them face to face currently.

would it be weird to come out to them over text that i'm gay?

what if they don't text back?

p.s. i live alone. so i'd have to wait a while to meet them anyway.

Whatever method gets you to actually come out is the best one. I think doing it in writing offers a couple of advantages -- it allows you to really think about what you want to say and gives your parents an opportunity to digest the information rather than giving an immediate, emotional response.

    Good luck!

Whatever is most comfortable for you, Reesespiece, is always fine.

Just be aware that Coming Out via text can be even more stressful than face-to-face because you may be left hanging for a long time before you get their response. Also, you might want to consider wording your text in such a way that they know that you are completely serious and aren't joking.

    Just some thoughts.

    Good luck!
