This just happened like seconds ago...

I was sitting in my room and my mother came in.I barely had a chance to change the internet browser to the other thing that I was looking at before she came close to me.She has no idea how much time I spend on here, nor does she know that I am Bi.I am hoping against hope that she didn't see what I was doing and what website I was on.Today she came closer to me than she usually does and that's why I am so freaked out.

I really do not want my participation EC to be the way I come out to my family.

I just needed to write about this because I always have to switch to a different browser when anyone walks into my room and I don't want to accidentally leave EC up while I go get some food or something.

    It's what I call a panicked rant.

Scroll down to the bottom, click the drop-down list on the far left, and choose one of the skins that say "without logo".
Starshine16, how much do you think she saw?

Have you considered, oh, keeping the door to your room closed?

Omg! I so can relate to that, except in my case the "family" computer is in her room, so I get the interuptions a lot.

I guess I should be lucky that my laptop is in my room and is not the "family computer"

It's not as bad as when you leave your gay porn in the window you're watching and you go to sleep. Hopefully dad didn't saw what I was watching.

It was a while back. I would have already received a big rant on how "I am going to hell" and probably I'd be living on my own since he most likely would've kicked me out of the house.

Hang some nice jewelery or beads or necklaces on the doorknob on the inside of your room that just so happens to make a lot of noise when it's moved. That way you'll have plenty of warning.

How metaphorical! I'ts like... being physically locked in a closet! :icon_wink

I have this all the time though. And not just with this site. I just don't like people watching over my shoulder wherever I'm surfing.
And the worst thing is when I laugh out loud at something that is said here or in chat and I get into this whole questioning of why I was laughing and who said what...

I hate when people look over my shoulder too. It's an invasion of my space.Yeah I try to laugh quietly when I am on here, but that whole plan doesn't always work.So I end up laughing and people come into my room and wonder what the hell I am laughing about.
