What would be the best way to come out as genderqueer? Would face to face or in an email be better? I've been thinking about telling my friend but I'm not sure how to approach her. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I think this really depends on the person, I personally would prefer sending someone an email, but I have a friend who much prefers talking about personal things in person. So I would say go with what you feel more comfortable doing.
Also, if you're worried about your friend not accepting you, you could try to bring up the topic of genderqueer identities in a conversation and just see how she reacts to it.
That's all I can think of tbh. Good luck and let me know how it went if you do decide to come out to her!
