How do you start a GSA at a school?

I have been really wanting someone to start a Gay Straight Alliance at my school but nobody seems to be doing it. All the other neighborhood schools are doing it and feel that if our school would do it, it would help me to find other gays in the area.

So the question is how do you get a GSA started? Is there anything special that you have to do? Any way to try to get one started anonymously? I know it sounds ridiculous but as I am not out, I really do not feel comfortable just yet going out to the whole school saying "Who wants to join this G.S.A that I am starting"
