So everyone knows I'm gay, everyone except the girl I look up to as my big sister. She used to babysit me when I was like eight and she's one of my best friends. Only problem is she's pretty heavy into the church scene. I'm so afraid of what her reaction will be but she needs to know. I swear I'm gonna puke over this.
If she loves you,she should accept you. You are no different then you were,when she babysat you,you're just older and now you're out. Congrats ,for that! If you think you should tell her,then,tell her. Good luck and all the best.
I just sent her a message on facebook telling her everything. I feel sick. She's really heavy into the church and I don't know how she'll react.
Hi there! Congratulations on your coming out journey thus far! She knows you for a long time now. If she is one of your best friends, chances are that she will accept you and be supportive. Even though she is into the 'church scene' that doesn't mean that she won't be supportive and/or accepting. Coming out to her, won't change anything about you. Try to relax, and take deep breaths. You know the reason for why she needs to know. Remind yourself of them and keep telling yourself that things are going to work out. When you have a moment with her or you find a good opportunity to talk to her, give it a go. I hope this helps!

Well I got a reply from her: "My best brother! I will never stop loving you. Though I may not like the lifestyle I'm not going to judge you for it. Nor will I condemn you. I love now and always will no matter what you do with your life. Please remember that. Nothing you do will make me love you less." Oh my God I worked myself up so much for nothing. I'm so relieved now that everyone important to me knows.
CONGRATS! Isn't it the best feeling to know that you were worrying for nothing? I puked the night I came out to my sister, then afterward it was completely fine. It's so wonderful to be reminded that the people who love you for who you are will always love you. Congratulations, you deserve it. <3
