i just was in a relationship,,,

and tomorrow it will be a week since he broke up with me,,

i just cant get over the whole thing,,

no matter how hard i try...

    but anywayy,,
    i wrote a poem,,

its just basically how i feel,,
and yeahh.. let me know what you think...

    You.
    By Robert (Damon) K.

    The skies were blue,
    That last day of May,
    I had no clue,
That they would turn to gray.

    I met you,
    My prince charming,
A guy who would love me too,
    And do no harming.

    But that all changed,
    You ended it,
    While you just changed,
    While I felt like shit.

    I thought you loved me,
    I thought you cared,
    I thought you could see,
    That I clearly was scared.

    Scared about my family,
    You didn’t care.
    I just cried.
    While you just stared.

    I loved you,
And honey that love was true,
    I had absolutely no clue,
    That I would be blue.

    Well Im here,
    Trying to forget,
    But I took you dear,
    And that I don’t regret.

I find that writing about things (especially in the form of poetry) is a really good way to express my feelings and hopefully it worked for you too.

The poem tells a sad tale, but I like it.

If you want/need to talk, there are plenty of people here who will listen (myself included).

Hi there! It's a really nice poem! Trying to move on is hard. But as you continue to try to focus and remain busy with other things you will be able to move on. If it helps at all, let it all out. Cry if you have to, and let your emotions out.

Once you have done that, start turning the page by trying to spend more time with your friends. Try to get to know others by joining a club at school, or an activity in your community. Maybe try giving that a go. (*hug*)

Not getting over something in a short span such as a week isn't at all strange. If you really loved him, it would have been strange if you got over it faster.

Writing about it can help. And I like the poem, in particular the last line. One should never regret loving someone...

Indeed. A week? That's no time. If you'd got over him in a week, that wouldn't have indicated a very strong relationship. (*hug*)
