I don't know if this the right place to post this, but I can't take it anymore.. My hamster, Mojo, is about to die.. He hasn't been eating like nothing for the past week, we tried everything.. and now, he barely breaths or moves.. he even accidentaly turned around but he couldn't get back on his feet.. I don't want him to die.. he is like 8 months old... idk what I'll do if he passes away...:icon_sad:
(*hug*) Have you taken him to a vet? Also, if your info's correct and you live in Greece, when I lived in Dubai a lot of my friends' hamsters died at that age, because of the climate. You'll have to adjust to that, hamsters do die a bit early in places where they're not really suited
I'm sorry. Sometimes we don't really have control over these things. You can do as Helen suggested and take him to a vet but its probably going to be expensive.
Thanks everyone... Its true we can't control nature, so all I can do is to hope he makes it through the night.tommorow i'll try to find a vet.. At least I convinced my mom to stop teasing him, she was all over him like "he is dead, im telling you, let me hold him to say a last goodbye" etc etc.. and I was like "you can see he is not well, at least let him have some sleep and pass away calmly..." gosh, I love him...
(((((xXHolic)))))) The pain of losing an animal friend is difficult therefore you are in my thoughts at this time.
i'm very sorry, in our house we have seen the passing of many hamster's, mice, and even rats, we have never been allowed a dog so we made up for it with many small animals. If it is just the climate then u might have to get used to ure hamsters not living long, but u will get over it and move on, i'm sorry for your loss. mat
(*hug*) i'm so so sorry. i know how youre feeling. i recently just lost my dog who i had for nine years. it's hard to lose a pet you love so much. (*hug*)
i am sorry for your loss i know its hard to lose a part of your family. i can say this, i have lost animals in my life time and it does get easier. i have to learn to deal with death all the time cuz i work for a vet and i can tell you time is what helps. i will pray that you will have peace in this time of saddness
Poor thing... (*hug*) I'm sure you gave him a happy place to live for the last 8 months, though. And at least he passed away quietly. (*hug*)
I just returned from Lycabetus Hill, where we burried him.. I think he'll love the view R.I.P my dearest friend...
