I am not afraid to say that whenever I am having a shit day, I watch good ol' Susan Boyle and have a little cry and I feel a little better. Maybe something as simple as that will help other people? Or perhaps I am freakishly gay but whatever. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnmbJzH93NU
I sang out loud along with a Donna Summer song in the shower today. You don't know from gay. 35 years ago, John Lennon announced in song "Whatever gets you through the night, it's all right, it's all right." It might be crying and Susan Boyle, it might be dancing to Lady GaGa, it might be playing Candy Land with your kid sister, it might be a peanut butter sandwich. Whatever gets you through the night, it's all right. It's all right. Lex
susan boyle is a great singer. However i still feel horrible for her every time i watch that video xD and even worse because the way i reacted when i first saw it xD
I'm a child of the 90s and when I'm feeling down, I revisit my childhood and unashamedly listen to Steps. The cheesy 90s pop I danced to at age 8 works wonders. And I'm not afraid to admit it.
I listen to disco or sing along to musical song's when i'm down i've become a massive geek but it make's me happy and that's what it's all about being happy
I love to love you...? I was on a Donna Summer episode one day last week after hearing that song. Right now i've been listening to "True Colors" and can't get gayer than that. I always kinds like the song on the radio, but that's different from when I'm obsess with it- they last 12 hours, then I love it and memorize note for note, and music video images stay in my mind.
OK, in response to Greggers, I simply must post...
I really like Michelle Williams, We Break the Dawn. It's really bubblegum pop, but still good, and the boys in the video are super hot and shirtless.
Chills ran down my spine the first time I heard her sing... But let's face it, we are all "freakishly" gay here. Personally, I LOVE "Girl Put Your Records On" by Corrine Bailey Rae.
