Does anyone know of any homes for gay youth. I'm not running away from home. Just leaving and never coming back. Not a gay issue, just an issue. Time to leave this house before I officially lose my mind. Don't want to bore you with the reasoning but I would greatly appreciate the help. Also, if anyone knows anyone who needs a roomate in Atlanta, Ga I would take that offer. thanks

You mean a 'rogue', don't you?
'Rouge' is just the French word for 'red'.

Yeah maybe posting an advertisement on craigslist or something would be helpful. You might also want to check online for something in your area.

    Brian,

If you are under 18, there is a group home in Atlanta for gay youth in your situation. If you are over 18, I would contact the gay-lesbian center in downtown Atlanta. They have a counseling center with therapists who are free, and who may have resources to help you.

Or maybe you're trying to secretly telegraph to the world that you're a communist.

    COMMUNIST!

Good luck on the move. Make sure you check out the roommate before moving in with them. Don't want any shenanigans going on.

On that note, I HIGHLY suggest that you make a "Roommate Contract" stating all of the agreed upon rules. This will help settle any disputes about bills, cleaning or anything else of that nature. You both would need to sign it.

Also, if it ever comes down to taking someone to court for not paying bills, you have a document affirming that they agreed to pay them. Keep track of your money.

And don't be scared. I did this with my last roommate I met on craigslist and nothing bad ever happened.

True, so if the relationship turns sour and late payments arise, you have a written document with their signature on it to prove the arrangement. Much more legit than a handshake agreement.
