Ok so I live in a city where like I've never met any gay people. There are soooooo soooo few, and I really feel like I'd like a relationship with a woman, but I just don't know where to meet them, there are no like gay clubs, and like all of the people that go to the LGBT group at my college are friends of mine, who I don't like or are men lol. Has anyone got any advice?

well welcome to ec and hope u enjoy your stay here. maybe there are also gay sporting groups or hobby groups around your city where you attend. Perhaps there is gay volunteer organisations as most cities at least have something like that.

Cambridge isn't that big but I might have a look, I always feel awkward at those things because its like just because I'm gay doensn't mean we have anything in common but I will look.

Actually, I have the opposite problem. There are plenty of gay clubs and bars in my area, but that's not my scene. It makes it tough to meet people.

That's better than not knowing any other gays or lesbians... And all of those people likely have other gay friends who you might eventually be introduced to. So I'd say work that angle for the time being.

meet the people that they know, at some point you can find a fellow gay/bi who you like as just a friend, that you can stay friends with. I know I'm still looking for one of those

Sounds like a plan :icon_wink I wouldn't mind living in England!
Have you tried asking your friends from the college group where they go to meet people? I'd also try to look for LGBT activity groups in the area, such as sport teams, etc.

Ahh I don't do sports lol  but yeah I might look it up, although I do feel silly going to those things, I wish there were like more gay clubs or bars or similar around here. I'm hoping its better at Uni. I might try asking others where they meet people, it sounds like a good idea.
