well if you find it hard to say you can write a note or email... perhaps go out for the day just the two of you and build up the courage... unfortunatlly theres not to many ways you can tell someone you like them without actually doing it and it beeing awkward you just got to feel the mood and how tehy feel abotu you and picl the right time and jsut go with it...if they are really your friend and they do knock you back they wont mind the advance and be flattered.

are you out to your friend? if not it may be a bit more of a shock as you saying youve feelings would mean 2 things to them but yea

Well, I doubt there are simple answers for every crush situation, so it would help to know a bit more. Is he gay/bi, and does he know you are gay/bi/whatever--sorry I can't read your orientation How good a friend is he? Are you guys close? Does he already have a bf or gf? Those sorts of things...

 

If he is available, you've just got to tell him. Don't come on too heavy and be sure to give him a way out to keep the awkwardness down. For example, don't just say "I want to go out with you" say something more along the lines of "Would you be interested in going out with me?" that way there is a place for him to say no if he's not interested. I was in kind of the same boat as you not too long ago and instead of working up the courage to tell him, I just let it go...a definite regret.

 

1. Don't get your hopes up, it will only hurt more.
2. There really is no way to tell someone you like them without it being awkward
3. If he says no, the best way to get over it, is well, to get over it.
4. If he says yes, then partay it up.
