Really awful news

    One of my friends lost another baby. Her first son died at birth because of brain & heart related problems, her second daughter is 2 years old and just fine, but this past thursday her 6 month old daughter died of SIDS (they think). It's just really awful =(

    Thanks (I guess thats the appropriate thing to say? heh). It's just so random and I couldn't reach anyone asap to talk about it with, so I feel like I had to say something somewhere.

    That is so sad. Losing a child is I think the worst thing that could happened to a mother.

    As a parent I can still only imagine how horrible that would be. I'm very sorry to hear that news.

    As kids get older, you can stop worrying about some things, but you start worrying about others. The reality is that parents never stop worrying about their kids. We laugh in my family because my 92 year old grandmother still worries about my dad - her 68 year old son! Once a parent, always a parent.

    I'm so sorry to hear that. I know that a million people saying how sorry they are won't bring her child back, so I just hope that she recovers and treasures the time she spends with her 2 year old all the more. (*hug*)

    Wow. I'm sorry to hear that. Losing a child is something that I cannot even begin to fathom going through.

    I feel really bad for her ... to lose two children is awful for anybody, mind you so is losing one. Aw man ... big hug to her. (&&&) :tears:

    Oh, that's horrible. She must be devastated. I have a little 7 month old baby in my care and I just can't imagine losing a child like that. She's such a sweetie with a huge personality. I just love her. I hope someday they can figure out more about why this happens.
