Okay, i've always thought about this and i keep ending up reading (too much) into it. Anyway, I just want to know your thoughts and opinions.

but, does it mean anything if a guy refers to you as 'dude' or 'bro'?
Does that make him straight? or maybe you're in the 'friend' zone?

I dunno, but I personally don't call my romantic interests bro/brother/dude (maybe somtimes but rarely)

but hey, does it mean anything at all?
sorry if this is quite a random question but hey, i just wanted to read what you guys think.

    Cheers

I frequently use the term dude to refer to any male acquaintance, so I'd say that puts him in the "friend zone". That doesn't rule out a possible relationship in the future though. Don't read so much into it, or you'll end up feeling slighted if it there isn't a romantic connection, or any form of romance between the two of you for that matter.

Yeah, I don't think you can tell by that. I use "dude," "bud," and any number of others that straight guys use to refer to each other.
