Would it be safe to assume my family might be okay that I am gay.... If they support me (and all happy/joyful/money hungry) that I go into the adult industry. Don't ask, it's a complicated to explain. It's not in the gay part of the industry though.
... Hm. Well do they have any bi/gay or trans friends that you know of? Maybe bring up the topic of gay themes. Like the Ellen show, Glee, Will and Grace, and get a discussion going about it. If they seem positive, chances are they'd be more accepting. If they're unsure or have some homophobic ideas, bring it up later on, but keep mentioning it if you see it in the news etc, to get them to maybe warm up to the idea.
