for the past 2 weeks mum has been a bit sad and now she has gone down hill bad, she had a panic attack and now she says shes too scared to come out of her room.
Its all cause she thinks her bf is having an affair.
Now shes just been crying in her room and isnt leaving:frowning2:
im scared of what will happen to her, if she will have to go to the mental hospital.;:slight_smile:tears::tears::tears::tears:

If she goes to the mental hospital, thats a good thing. It means she needs help and shes going to get exactly that. Ive had a few family members go in and out of mental hospitals and its not as scary as you might think. If she has a mood disorder she could be in and out quite fast with new meds to balance her out.

BUT - and this is a big but - she most likely is just stressed out and emotional and just needs to be alone and deal with it in her own way. Greving is important, so give her some time. You never know! Tomorrow she may spring back to normal. Just keep an eye on her and remember whats best for her might not be what you want for her. If she needs treatment, make sure she gets it.

Going to where she can get some help is good. Hope she gets well soon. Just be there for her.

At least she'll be able to get the help she needs while she's there. Be there for her; let her know you'll be there to support her if and when she needs it. My thoughts go out to you both. (*hug*)
