Came home to find...

    ...my dove, on his back on the bottom of his cage, twitching. His intestinal area was really chewed up and gnarled. He had been looking a little sickly over the past few months, but I passed this off to old age. I'd had him for at least three years, and I got him from a friend, so, I didn't know how old he actually was.

    I feel terrible. I'm assuming he has a parasite of some sort, or something. Something had to have done that to him.

    My best friend is a bird lover, she would be in tears right now. I'm sorry...losing a pet is like losing family. :-(
