At the minute I deal with it by talking to a therapist. If at all possible I would recommend to anyone doing the same even though it can be hard sometimes.

Hugs don't have to come from boyfriends. They can come from any kind of friends. Or relatives. There's no need to be so lonely - because there are always people around looking to do somethign with someone. You just need to find them.

I second this. If you have any friends you talk to everyday, just ask for a hug. You both would be better off. Or give them a text or call!

Hi there! (*hug*) As others have mentioned, hugs can come from anyone, and they will make you feel good and will make you feel less lonely.

Feeling lonely is never a nice feeling. But you can do something about that. Call a friend and just ask if he or she wants to hang out or if you could just get together at coffee shop.

Try to make a new friend. Try to find someone, for example at school, that shares one or two of your interests. Is there a LGBT group (or a GSA) at your school, or in the area where you live? That would be a good place to start. If not, not to worry. Join an activity at your school, even if it is just the reading club, through which you will get to know others.

Set yourself the goal, of finding a new friend. Work at it and don't give up. A hug from a friend is as much worth as a hug from a boyfriend.

    (*hug*)
