So I told my sister last week that I was gay, she was amazing and so supportive. However, she is kinda pushing me to move faster in my going out process then I am. I just turned on my DVR and I saw a recording of "Queer as Folk". I didn't record that. LOL. OMG! She's awesome and I appreciate that, but slow the roll. LOLOL

Just thought I would share that.

I'm glad she is being supportive and she wants you to be out. Remember that come out at your own pace and not hers. You want to come out to people when you are comfortable.

Sounds like a good sister
I wish I had one like that, supporting me and being awesome... Sadly she's just a little bit too young for that...

I'm glad that your sister is supportive. Having someone who also encourages you to keep coming out and being yourself can help in building confidence as well as a strong support network. But, and as EM68 said, you need to come out at your own pace and do what feels right for you. If you feel things get a bit too much, then maybe just let her know that you need to take a breather.

Glad things are going well. That's great!
