Okay I am planning to go to a gay club this Saturday, first time, but I have no idea what to wear to it. I want to look the best there is, so what do clubbers wear? But I want to draw a ton of attention (good type). I have a good body, it isn't fat (even though fat to my standards), so I can probably pull off anything.
Nothing. It is a gay club after all. Just wear something nice, that you feel confident and comfortable in.
Hi there! What do you wear usually? I'd say that's good enough to make a good impression on the members of the gay club. How to draw attention? During the introduction round, just introduce yourself and say why you joined in, and what you hope to gain from participating and/or being an active member of the club.
Wear what you normally wear. The gay club that I usually go to people wear anything. People wear jeans and tees and some people wear dress pants and button down shirts. I prefer jeans and a nice sweater so I dont look too casual and dont feel overdressed.
I think there is some confusion, or maybe it's just me. Can the OP clarify if he is referring to a gay support group/club, or a gay bar/club?
Well it doesn't change the answer all that much. Even for a gay bar, you don't have to dress up too much. If you plan to dance, a nice pair of jeans and a shirt might be best actually. Wear what you usually wear. As for getting noticed, you could always try to strike up a conversation with someone or just stand/sit closer to the dance floor. Are you going with friends or by yourself?
around here most people go in small t shirts that have something shiny on the logo or significant gay themed words and skinny/ish jeans, although a bunch arent wearing shirts by the end of the night. i usually go in a slim fitting button-up shirt with jeans that show off my attributes. one guy i saw last time was wearing slim jeans and no shirt, just a hoodie jacket that was either partially or all the way unzipped. THAT was hot.
I wish I was going with friends, but I don't have any gay friends. So I am probably going to walk in by myself that night. Not sure if that is weird though. Paco that sounds cool... I'll consider it.
Nope! I have gone by myself too, and you can have as much fun. On a couple of occasions, I asked one of my straight friends to join in. That might be an option. In some ways, going there by yourself, you might actually have a greater chance of striking up a conversation with someone. Perhaps try to play some pool join in on the dance floor. Have fun!
I think I'm going to hit up the local gay club this weekend as well, like you I'll be flying solo. I'll prolly just wear a nice pair of jeans from express and a button up shirt since it's cold out. I'm fit so I can really pull of whatever I want but I like simple and tastefull.
i don't have any gay friends either, but straight girls seem to love to go gay clubbing and it's good to go with them cause everyone can assume there's nothing going on between you so they don't have issues with coming up and talking/dancing with you.
I am fat by everyone's standard and i suggest jeans and tshirt! i also suggest not going solo. it gets quite boring after a while and people think you want to shag them everytime you approach anyone. just my two cents.
Wear what makes you comfortable! Don't compromise who you are for some snooty stuck up men at a club!
Well it's about 16 miles, so it isn't really that close. But it's worth it. Actually I have a few, and I don't know which one to go to. One is a gogo club, a leather club, a dance club, a normal club (I guess), but there's a lot of variety in the nearest big city. I'm thinking of going to the gogo club first.
it doesnt matter what you wear. whatever u feel more comfy in and can dance with on. i myself usually wear a black shirt and jeans. tho my white shirt had me a few admirers. think the totaly shaved head was a bonus too that nite haha. shame, i had one guy i liked and i think he liked me but somehow we never got talking. not been back since then either. i really need to go back. i usually have fun there. so yeah a nice shirt id recommend.
I was actually thinking of going with my friend soon... I'm so excited now! It's an over 18 club, but I look old enough, I'm sure. I'm not as fit as Andromeda - lol - but I'm sure I could pull off many things, too.
