Another one to check of my outcoming list! I told my parents today. Its the end of spring break and I won't be home untill summer so I figured it was now or never! It went well I believe. I knew it would, but was still scared out of my mind. I do feel somewhat awkward about it now, but I think that will go away in time. Especially if they don't ask too many questions. Now I have one more person to tell, then one group to tell. and I will consider myself out! (my definition of out: Not feeling there is anyone I would rather them hear from me than from others. After this last step, I could care less how people find out!!!) So close. I estimate about a month left! Finally
Congrats on coming out to them. I will officially start my spring break this next Wednesday because that is when I go home. I am also planning on telling my parents then as well as my two sisters and brother. I hope I have the courage to actually do it and that it goes well. I'm not out to anybody right now so it will be a huge step.
That's great! Congratulations!! Parents are always a challenge, even when you know they'll be ok with it. And I'm sure it's a great feeling to not have anything you're holding back from them
