So if you read one of my last posts http://emptyclosets.com/forum/showthread.php?t=36146 I came out to my mother (for the second time) on Thursday evening. That was a HUGE deal for me, since because I feel that she had been so unaccepting that it hurt our knit-close relationship. She was pretty accepting but I thought she still was in a bit of denial "are you sure? but you told me that you liked that guy." But last night *drum roll* she helped me hang up a pride flag that I got at PrideFest yesterday! (I wore it as a cape during the festival :eusa_danc) Anyway I just wanted to share my excitement! And I want to thank EC for helping the coming out process be more smooth (*hug*) (&&&)
That's awesome that your mum is so accepting and seems to have come around to it fully. That's great!
Thanks guys! I am very proud of my mom for accepting me and I truly do not think that I would've been able to get this far yet without the support of all of you!
I guess I'm not the only one who came out and went back in to the closet...sorta. I thought I was the only one lol.
