Excited for the future

Discussion in 'Coming Out Advice' started by travelinsoul21, Aug 29, 2010.

  1. So I finally started college. I'm doing it. In 4 short years I'll be able to be a teacher, which I really feel is my calling. I want to get my degree with a specialization in bilingual education and then hopefully join the Teach for America program.

I am just so super excited about everything. I am so excited, I just wish I didn't have to wait the 4 years, haha.

I just hope that I can excel at it so that I can be a super-excellent teacher and give kids the education they deserve someday.

Awww, I remember my first day. Like others said, "keep your eyes on the prize". The motivation I have to finish school is the job I want when I get out - police officer. I can see myself doing NOTHING ELSE and this is my ticket to attaining that. I treat college like a job, I'm hear to WORK, not slack off. Good luck, my friend.

Good to see your so excited and I'm sure 4 years will soon fly by.

  9. I think the reason I was feeling so bad back before this was because I ran out of meds and hadn't got them refilled. Now I'm back on them. I think thats the difference

But anyway, I'm cool with life, just wish I could get out there and see what its like. I'm planning on transferring to another college next year and I've looked and they have a GSA which I want to get involved with, but I don't think they have one here
