So I finally started college. I'm doing it. In 4 short years I'll be able to be a teacher, which I really feel is my calling. I want to get my degree with a specialization in bilingual education and then hopefully join the Teach for America program. I am just so super excited about everything. I am so excited, I just wish I didn't have to wait the 4 years, haha. I just hope that I can excel at it so that I can be a super-excellent teacher and give kids the education they deserve someday.
Good luck! Teaching is one of the best professions out there and the "Teach for America" program is definately worthwile. Keep at it!
Awww, I remember my first day. Like others said, "keep your eyes on the prize". The motivation I have to finish school is the job I want when I get out - police officer. I can see myself doing NOTHING ELSE and this is my ticket to attaining that. I treat college like a job, I'm hear to WORK, not slack off. Good luck, my friend.
Thank you sharing such a good refreshing and positive post with us. Good luck to you, I know you will succeed! <3
I think the reason I was feeling so bad back before this was because I ran out of meds and hadn't got them refilled. Now I'm back on them. I think thats the difference But anyway, I'm cool with life, just wish I could get out there and see what its like. I'm planning on transferring to another college next year and I've looked and they have a GSA which I want to get involved with, but I don't think they have one here
