Anyway, I'm not sure whether it's a date (just asked him if he wanted to go around the mall with me, so we'll see what happens; I'm okay if it just ends up being friendly), but I'm really nervous. Hi there! Congrats on taking that step! All I would suggest is to keep your expectations low and try to see it as getting to know someone as a friend. If it turns out to be a bit more, that's great. If not, that's great too. Going around the mall should help you to keep things pretty 'casual' as it were and also some opportunities to talk about things. Just be yourself and try to enjoy the day at the mall.
