This is the letter I plan to print out and give to my dad. Any pointers or things I should change or add? And I dont know how to finish it either. I'm also looking for a time to give it to him when I'm not going to be around for a few days, so he has the chance to come to terms with it without me having to watch, is that a good idea?

I think it's great. I can't really think of anything else you could add to make it any better, and I hope it all goes well for you. And, giving it to him when you'll be away for a few days isn't a bad idea, but do you have any idea what you could do to be away for a few days?
i have interviews to go to that i will probably go on my own to, in england. thats in november. but i dont really want to wait that long

yeah. in england. my grandparents are actually coming out in a few days. but i dont think they'd like it much... (ahhhhh, no). i guess i could try a sleepover weekend after next with a friend.
I DID IT. i left the letter for him. now he just has to wake up (literally) and smell the coffee. i just hope it goes well
