Hey guys, Had A COMPLELTELY weird experience today. I logged onto my Facebook, and had a friend request from this kid I didn't know. Being thew curious type that I am, I accepted it and started up a conversation. Turns out that the kid had picked up my Facebook account from the website of a gay youth group I attend/used to attend on occasion. It was really strange, because I got to be the one giving advice, handing out links (like this one) and telling him about the youth group, etc. I just think it was strange and worthy of mention. Apparently, I have gone from the kid who needs a bunch of help to someone to ask questions and go to for help. Weird. Anyone else experienced this? It was... Strangely nice... Being able to help someone. I dunno. Just seemed like I was giving back or something. Cheers, Kaleb.
I kind feel that way toward my gay friends, when I first came out I was the one asking all the questions and freaking out about things, now everyone seems to come to me for help.
I love that feeling About a year ago, I was the closeted one that all my gay friends would give advice. Now I'm giving out advice to my many closeted friends! It feels really great to help people ♥
It is a rather nice feeling, isn't it? And it's definitely something you should enjoy. Because you earned it!
