    Basically, I really want a boy/girlfriend but everyone in my year at school either hates me or is a straight guy. The only people who would go out with me, I don't want to go out with.

    Oh, and people in other years, I'm working on.

    Halo has a point. Have you tried looking up any gay social activities outside of school. Most cities have gay communities that meet once or twice a month.
