If you are weak at heart, I would suggest that you would not click on the link at the end of the page. Nothing adult or bloody is shown, but the very idea of how far Anonymous can spread and what they do may cause you to have nightmares. It has to me. I have a paper I plan to make sevrual copys of and post on my School Campus (at night, so I wont be caught). This story is a classic example of Fox News' overblown, sensationalist, ratings-driven "news" programs. Oh, and anonymous are not hackers. They might crack once in a while, but "hackers on steroids" they are not. They're assholes, sure, but not hackers.
Thanks, Rette, I was waiting for someone to point out the "overblown sensationalist ratings driven" part...I really think that you have to take this story with a pinch of salt...I mean they gave the clip of the explodiong van twice without ever actually explaining what it was...If it was done by the "Anonymous" why wouldnt they say that?...i think it would just have stock footage in any case My opinion is that they are bored intelligent, computer people who delight in anarchy, but they have never actually physically hurt anyone (yes i know that they have been a major problem, but havent actually physically hurt them)...So yeah they seem like a problem, but not the lifethreatening, urgent, dire problem that Fox makes it out to be
Bingo. It should be noted, 99.95% of what anonymous does is post really dumb (but sometimes, really funny) pictures and run jokes into the ground.

I wish i were a hacker myself, so i could combat them with their own weaponry. fight fire with fire. They all deserve nothing more than complete destruction.
Well. . .sitting around and doing nothing about it isn't any better either. they need to know that threatening people, violating people's privacy, and harassing them will NEVER be tolerated. . .period! It is not like they have the freedom and the rights to mess around with other people's computers and make terroristic threats. they should be stopped!
Exaggerated, false information, and blank reams of paper hooray! To point a few things out: -Not a "secret, underground" website at all. Completely public. -Not all of them are hackers on steroids. Very few actually have advanced knowledge of computer hacking. -The young man in the video, "David", was begging Anonymous to get revenge at his ex. He was not attacked without reason, no matter how trivial the reason was. -The bomb threats were made by a single person, and he never went through with it. -Anonymous does not blow up yellow vans. Note the "Demonstration" label in the corner. -/i/ is no longer an invasion board. Not that I condone Anonymous' actions, but Fox is the last resort when looking for unbiased info.
