Recently I've been having a lot of night terrors...every night I dream of a person I highly respect/respected betraying me by calling me out on something. I wake up crying and nervous and unable to sleep. I go through my days depressed and unstable. I feel like I might have PTSD because in my past I was betrayed by an older woman I trusted and was able to confide in. My question to you is, EC, may I have some e-hugs? :tears: Here's one for you: *hug*
Hey (*hug*) (*hug*), have you been talking to your doctor about those nightmares ? He may give you some medecines (not necessarily strong ones, very good things does exists in homeopathy for instance) that could help you with this. And as you're feeling depressed and anxious at days and that you're having those nightmares at night and can't sleep properly, maybe it would be worth to start seeing a counselor to talk about it. Take care (*hug*) Cécile
Here is an e-hug from Texas!(*hug*) Even a kiss, should you want it. Hope they pass and you can get some peaceful nights!
(*hug*) Have you ever tried using a dreamcatcher? Even though they don't actually ward off bad dreams, it puts you more at ease to have one around.
I know this might not be the greatest of advice but in terms of the general mentality of nightmares. Usually I get the WORST night terrors if my sleep schedule is messed up. And that description goes to the absolute most terrible nightmares, sleep paralysis. Also, if you are a tea drinker, my friend had BRUTAL nightmares until he started on this brand of "calming tea." Ask your tea shop. You have like half-a-cup before you go to sleep and it suppose to help with nightmares or general uneasy sleepness. Also *Hug* I hope that helps
