Background .......... it's done! I'm still nervous. It is the first time I have ever done something like this. After talking with a couple of friends over the weekend, I decided to give him a call. After all, it is his birthday today, and my friends suggested it would be a good way into the conversation. So I called him and wished him happy birthday. I think he was really surprised because he was pretty nervous. So was I! The nice thing is that I had the same feeling when we talked during the two evenings. We started talking about how his day has been going and his plans for the evening. He actually asked me how my trip back was a couple of weeks ago. We didn't chat for long but it was a nice chat. I mentioned to him that I am planning on coming to the city were he lives over the weekend. As he wanted me to call him once I'm there and let me know if he would have time, I kinda hinted that it would be good if I would know beforehand as I am still planning the trip. So, he will let me know by the end of the week, when he would have some time due to his work schedule. Wish me luck!
